The 2007 Boomerang Awards were presented on October 9 by the Customer Contact Center Network of the Greater Louisville region (C3N). This second annual awards luncheon recognized the achievements and contributions of outstanding call centers and call center professionals in the region. Humana Military won The Vision Award for overall contact center excellence. Two awards are given in this category; one for small center (100 reps or less) and one for large center (101 reps). The purpose of the Vision Award is to recognize the company who achieves outstanding results, becoming the most respected contact center in the region.Humana Military is a role model for other centers because, among many reasons, Humana Military: makes business decisions that are right for the company and their customers; builds relationships with their employees by inspiring trust and supporting creativity; innovatively improves processes; is a leader in supporting and leading change; and exceeds goals on a consistent basis.
